Dosage

FixME Collagen is a tasteless, odourless, white powder.

5 grammes of Collagen powder ingested on a daily basis is sufficient to provide a positive effect on tendons and ligaments. There is a measuring scoop provided with every bag. Simply pour a level scoop into any hot or cold beverage.

For adolescents it may work best in a glass of milk, smoothie, hot chocolate or Milo.

Adults may prefer it in tea or coffee, but you could even sprinkle it on your breakfast serial if you like. It just needs to be ingested.

Timing

The most effective time to take Collagen powders is in the evening. There is a possibility that if you consume it in the morning that some of it may be used for fueling your body. Therefore, the later in the day you take it the better.

However, the most important thing is to get it into your daily routine so that you miss as few days as possible. If this happens to work out best that it is in your morning coffee than, that’s fine.

Vitamin C

Several studies have shown that collagen creation in the body is more effective when Vitamin C is available. If you have a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables, then you shouldn’t have to worry about this. However, if your Vitamin C intake is limited, you should consider taking a daily supplement to improve results.
